Alpaca Race

The Alpaca Race is a challenging trail race in Hisingparken, Gothenburg, run over laps on a technical course. The race offers four distance options (1, 3, 5 or 10 laps), with substantial elevation gain, and is intended as preparation for tough mountain races such as UTMB. The race takes place on 13–14 June 2026, with night running for the longest distances and a medal for everyone who finishes. The event is organized by IF Kville, with the gathering point and aid station at Tuve ice rink/IF Kville’s clubhouse.

Start and time schedule: 10 laps start Saturday at 19:00 (24 hours, 20 places); 5 laps start Sunday at 07:00 (12 hours, 50 places); 3 laps start at 10:00 (8 hours, 50 places); and 1 lap has starts around 11:00/15:00 (1–3 hours, 100 places). Check-in and place assignment take place before the start. The aid station/start is at IF Kville’s clubhouse by Tuve ice rink, with toilets and the option to change and shower. Food: barbecue and the option to bring your own food; energy drinks and evening staffing are available. A course preview run is announced separately, with its own timing for those who wish to take part.
