ATEA Kalmarmilen

ATEA Kalmarmilen is an established half marathon in Kalmar taking place on July 29, 2026, welcoming both recreational runners and elite athletes. The start is at Teatervallen and the finish area is at Larmtorget, with a course passing Kalmar Castle, Stensö, the Old Town, the harbor, Fredrikskans, Lindö, and Ängö before returning to the city center. The race also serves as the DM/VDM status for Eastern Sweden and is organized by Högby IF, while being part of the I Run Kalmar race series. On the same day, the Little Atea Kalmarmilen is held for children in various age groups, making it a family event with multiple running options.
