Race description
Join us in highlighting the vital blood donation at the Blood Race Växjö on September 2, 2026. The race offers 5 km and 10 km (10 km = two laps of a certified 5 km course) as well as the Little Blood Race for the youngest participants. Start and finish are in Linné Park, and the course is described as flat and fast with plenty of crowd support along the way. The event welcomes both individual participants and teams, and traditionally concludes with a picnic and activities in the event area.
Highlights
- Start and finish in beautiful Linné Park in front of the main stage
- Flat, fast, and certified 5 km course (10 km = two laps)
- Separate walking route for the 5 km walk and a dedicated loop for the Little Blood Race (~600 m)
Additional information
Registration can be done individually or in teams (maximum 5 participants per team). Team members within the same team can participate in different distances. The last date to register a team is August 26, 2026. There is an Excel template for mass registrations, and the organizer can assist with customer pages/discount codes for companies registering more than 20 participants. Name changes and class/distance changes cost 50 SEK. Registration is open until the day of the event, and late registration on site in Linné Park is possible (the tent for late registration and bib distribution). The Little Blood Race runs on a separate loop in Linné Park with the same start/finish. Course details: start and finish in Linné Park; the 5 km course is used for the 10 km race; on-site registration and team registration available; includes T-shirt, bib, medal, and goodie bag; water stations and storage are mentioned.
