Blodomloppet Linköping

The Blood Race in Linköping is one of Sweden's largest sporting events focused on raising awareness of the vital need for blood donation. The race offers the opportunity to walk, jog, or run 5 or 10 kilometers and is open to both individual participants and teams. During the event, the blood bus will be on site for those who wish to become blood donors, and the race has a strong local connection with ambassadors and collaborations. It is a social and healthy activity that concludes with a communal picnic and contributes to youth activities through the proceeds.

Youth teams (five team members born in 2009 or later) participate at half the registration fee if registered by April 30. Teams can be expanded to five participants at no cost until April 30. Participants registering by May 14 will receive free public transport within Östergötland for 6 hours on race day via SMS ticket. Late registration is possible at the bib distribution days before the race. Payment can be made via Swish, card, or e-invoice for companies. The race includes various distances for adults and children, with options to walk or run, as well as blood donation on site. The event is a large community celebration with music and social gathering.
