Blodomloppet – Sundsvall

Blodomloppet in Sundsvall is a recreational race that raises awareness of the vital importance of blood donation while promoting health and community. The race has moved from Timrå and is held at Ungdomsfältet in Södra hamnen, a central and accessible venue with views of the harbour area. The event offers 5 km and 10 km races (timed), a walking category, and Lilla Blodomloppet for children, and is part of the national Blodomloppet series. Part of the entry fee goes back to local sports activities.

A picnic bag for 5 people is included in the team entry fee; teams can register 5 people but leave 1–2 places vacant and fill them later by email no later than 18 August; blood donors receive a 40 kr discount per person; payment can be made by card or Swish; on-site late registration for individuals opens at 15:30 on race day (increased fee of 450 kr); the courses are officially measured and approved by the Swedish Athletics Association; Lilla Blodomloppet offers shorter courses of approximately 600 m and 1,600 m. Courses: 5 km and 10 km for adults (counterclockwise); Lilla Blodomloppet in the harbour area (600 m and 1,600 m). Venue: Ungdomsfältet in Södra hamnen.
