Race description
Welcome to Blodomloppet in Uddevalla on 11 May 2026—a new local Blodomlopp event where you can walk, jog or run 5 km or 10 km, and children can take part in Lilla Blodomloppet. The start and finish are at Museiparken, and the course runs through central Uddevalla, passing, among other places, Östra station and sections of the old Lelångebanan railway. The event is held to raise awareness of blood donation, with both individual and team registration, followed by a group picnic after the finish.
Highlights
- The start is near Museiparken; the course runs along Kungsgatan and under the railway at Östra station
- The 10 km route climbs Dynamitbacken towards Bjursjön and follows the old railway embankment (Lelångebanan)
- The 5 km route turns towards Bleket, reaches its highest point at Norrskolan and is mostly downhill towards Uddevalla Hospital via a pedestrian tunnel under Road 44
Additional information
Team registration: 3–5 participants; a picnic bag is included. Teams may register with 1–2 vacant places and fill them by 1 May. Last day for team registration: 4 May. Individual registration closes on 11 May; late registration is available at Museiparken from 16:00 on 11 May. Wellness benefits (Epassi, Wellnet, Benify) are accepted. Blood donors receive a stated discount of 40 kr when registering. Lilla Blodomloppet is for children up to 12 years old (a parent may accompany them without registering).
