Borejoggen

Borejoggen is a traditional Midsummer race in Torsby, welcoming elite runners, recreational runners and children. The main race is run on asphalt through central Torsby and is approximately 8.5 km. Minijoggen is a shorter class of approximately 1.5 km for children and young people. There is also Lagjoggen, a team race for teams of three, with the team’s combined time counting. The start is in the area around Östmarksvägen/Herrgårdsparken (Minijoggen at 09:30; Borejoggen and Lagjoggen at 11:00). Registration is via RaceID or at Prima Sport/Herrgårdsparken, according to the organiser’s information.

The start is on Östmarksvägen/Herrgårdsparken. Race numbers and timing chips can be collected at Prima Sport during Midsummer week. Changing facilities and showers are available at Björnevi IP and Valbergsstugan; toilets are available at Herrgårdsparken and Björnevi IP. Prizes are offered, including sprint and hill prizes and prize money for the winners. Traffic marshals will be stationed on busy roads, and medical services will be available at the finish. The course is 8.5 km on asphalt through central Torsby. Start times are 9:30 for Minijoggen and 11:00 for Borejoggen/Lagjoggen. Registration is via RaceID or Prima Sport. Lagjoggen requires three participants per team. Water stations are provided as specified for the course.
