Race description

The bypass premiere is a one-time event where you can run or walk on the new E4, both above ground and through tunnel tubes, before the road opens to traffic. The race will be held on October 3, 2026, with start and finish at the new traffic junction Akalla and is suitable for both beginners and experienced runners. There are race categories (approximately 12 km), recreational categories (choose approximately 4, 7, or 12 km), and walking categories (Herr Gårman, approximately 4 km). The event is highlighted as a unique "once in a lifetime" experience to be among the first to traverse the new road.

Highlights
