Förbifartspremiären

The Förbifartspremiären is a one-off event where you can run or walk on the new E4, both above ground and through its tunnels, before the road opens to traffic. The race takes place on 3 October 2026, starting and finishing at the new Akalla interchange, and is suitable for both beginners and experienced runners. There will be a competitive class (approximately 12 km), a recreational class (choice of approximately 4, 7 or 12 km) and a walking class (Herr Gårman, approximately 4 km). The event is billed as a unique “once in a lifetime” experience—the chance to be among the first to set foot on the new road.

Registration opens on 5 February at 12:00. The race has a maximum time of 1 hour 30 minutes; the competitive class starts at approximately 09:00, the recreational class has start times between 10:00 and 17:30, and Herr Gårman (walking) between 18:00 and 19:30. Individuals can pay by card, Klarna invoice or Swish; company invoices are available only for groups of 20 or more through a designated contact. Registration is binding and personal. Registration opens on 5 February at 12:00; the first section, Hjulsta–Häggvik, is planned to open at the end of 2026; the entire Förbifart Stockholm is due for completion in 2030; starting places are sold through Marathongruppen; the race includes a race bib, timing, finish-line services and a medal; approximately 10,000 starting places were sold in the first hour.
