Göteborgsvarvet

Göteborgsvarvet is a well-known 21.0975 km celebration of running in Gothenburg, bringing together tens of thousands of runners and hundreds of thousands of spectators along the course. The race passes through the festival atmosphere of Slottsskogen, continues along Hisingen’s quays and by the buzz of Avenyn. The course has been certified by a World Athletics-licensed course measurer, and the event is complemented by Göteborgsvarvet Expo and numerous spectator and music stations along the route. The distance is a half marathon (21,097.5 m), and the course has been certified by a World Athletics-licensed course measurer. Registration is closed for 2026; seeding rules and start groups are available; the 21 km course passes Slottsskogen, runs along Hisingen’s quays and goes by Avenyn; the race is part of Varvet Week.
