Gotland Run 511k (2026)

Gotland Run 511k is more of a running adventure than a traditional race: a self-supported journey around Gotland of approximately 511 km, starting and finishing in Visby. Participants follow a clockwise loop that also includes a circuit of Fårö, with support from four so-called Angel Stations along the way. The organizer provides some basic services, but runners are responsible for most food and logistics arrangements. The entire route must be completed on foot within 10 days, with regular position reports throughout the day.

Self-supported format: the organizer provides only the most basic services; participants are responsible for food and most accommodation. A pre-race dinner and race briefing in Visby on the evening before the start are mandatory. One night’s accommodation at Visby Fängelse Hostel and breakfast on race morning are included, as are a race bib, luggage storage during the race, and a souvenir for finishers. Transport back to Visby is available for participants who withdraw. Participants must report their position twice daily (10:00 and 22:00) using an online check-in tool and a Google Maps link.
