Hallarydsloppet

Hallarydsloppet is an annual running race held on Easter Monday at Hallaryd School. The race is suitable for all ages, with distances ranging from 1.2 km for the youngest participants to 21 km as the main event. Much of the route follows gravel roads and paved sections through beautiful surroundings of winding stone walls, meadows and forests in the borderlands between Skåne and Småland. Shorter routes of 3.2 km, 6 km and 9.8 km are also available and are suitable for both running and walking. The event offers timing, water stations and prizes for the top finishers in each category, as well as a plaque for everyone who completes the race.

Race bibs must be collected at the school no later than 30 minutes before the start. Changing facilities and showers are available at HIF’s clubhouse for women and in the school gymnasium for men. Timing is recorded using a barcode on the race bib. Sports drink and water are served at the water stations. Late registration is available on race day for an increased fee (SEK 50 for adults; no extra fee for youth and walking categories). Prizes are awarded to the top three in each category, and everyone who completes the race receives a plaque. The event also includes shorter children’s and walking routes, with the start and finish at Hallaryd School. Participants can register by email or bank transfer. The event offers water stations and an award ceremony after the race.
