Highland Charity Backyard Ultra

Welcome to Highland Charity Backyard Ultra in Sävsjö - a charitable and challenging backyard ultra race where Höglandskyrkan in Sävsjö and Highland Trail Club collaborate. The race is run as hourly lap starts with a common start at 09:00 and a new start every full hour; anyone who does not complete the lap within 60 minutes is out. Participants can choose between a easy 3.7 km loop around the lake or the tougher 6.7 km Bäckaskogsrundan, and the proceeds from the race go to charitable causes.

Parking at Slottsruinen parking lot (toilets available); bib, water bottle, food, and coffee/cake included in the registration fee. Food is served for participants at 11:30, 15:30, and 19:30. Bibs can be collected from 07:30 to 08:30 on race morning. Late registration is open from May 24 to May 30 at 08:30 (late registration fee 350 SEK). The winner is the last person to complete a lap or the first to finish at lap 15 if multiple remain. Participants choose the distance before each full hour; prizes are only awarded to those running the long course. The Backyard Ultra format includes two distances; maximum 15 laps; start at 09:00 and finish by 00:00; registration in advance and late registration until race day; start and finish area at Slottsruinen parking in Sävsjö.
