Höga Kusten Trail

Höga Kusten Trail is a two-day trail-running weekend with five distances that takes you through the High Coast World Heritage Site. The races are for both beginners and experienced participants and combine running, power hiking and spectacular views. The event includes race briefings, a small expo with equipment exhibitors, and shared after-trail celebrations at FriluftsByn.

A race briefing is held before each distance, and there is a small expo where Icebug and Haglöfs showcase equipment. The Original 45k has a 12-hour time limit, and buses run from FriluftsByn to the start (for example, 07:30 - 08:30 for Original). There are aid stations and course marshals along the route, the option to sell your race entry in the participants’ Facebook group, and optional insurance through Startklar. After-Trail and shared evening gatherings are part of the event, and the organisers also offer Trail-Camps. Participants take part in a two-day weekend with five distances; race briefings before each distance; Trail Camp and various pre- and post-events; start and finish locations at FriluftsByn and Skuleberget; and a race that passes iconic viewpoints in the High Coast World Heritage Site.
