Kanallöpet

Kanallöpet is an annual running event offering both competitive and recreational categories over half-marathon, 10 km and 5 km distances. All races start at 13:00 from three different locations along National Road 34 between Linköping and Motala, and finish at the Bergvallen sports ground in Borensberg. The race is organised by Borensbergs IF, OK Skogsströvarna and Vreta SoMK, and welcomes runners of different ages and abilities. Buses transport participants from the finish area to the start locations before the race. Late registration is available at the start locations for an additional fee.

Race bibs can be collected at the respective start location before the start. Late registration takes place at the start locations between 11:30 and 12:30, with a 50% surcharge on the regular fee. Medals are free for participants aged 16 and under; others can buy a medal at the finish. Refreshments are available at the finish area. The distances are suitable for both competitive runners and recreational runners, with membership required for the competitive category. Registration is via the web, with payment by Swish or bank giro. The race has a long tradition and attracts around 360 participants each year.
