Race description
Kivijärviloppet is a traditional cross-country race organized by Kivijärvi IF since 1970. The event is held in the village of Kivijärvi in the Torne Valley and has grown to more than 200 participants. The main event is the 12 km open class for both women and men, and the race is known for its generous prize table thanks to its sponsors. Many well-known skiers and runners have taken part over the years, giving the race strong local and national standing.
