Race description
Klarälvsloppet Run 21K is a fast and scenic half marathon that takes place on an old railway embankment between Forshaga and Karlstad, completely car-free and without steep inclines. The race is certified by the Swedish Athletics Association and offers three water stations with water and sports drinks along the course. The start is from Forshaga Learning Center and the finish line is in Karlstad, where participants are offered fruit and coffee after finishing. It is a popular race that attracts many runners who want to set a personal best in a beautiful environment.

Start location is Forshaga Learning Center with bib distribution from 09:00 to 10:00. Buses depart from Karlstad City Library to the start at 09:00 with space for equipment. The maximum time for the race is 2:45 hours, with minibuses available for late finishers. Luggage transport to the finish is provided. Medical services are available at the start, finish, and water stations. After finishing, bananas, buns, and chocolate are offered. Sports drinks are supplied by Umara with a discount code for participants. The event also includes other distances such as 7.5 km and longer cycling and roller skiing races; opportunities for corporate challenges and health initiatives.
