Koster Trail

Koster Trail is a challenging trail race in the Kosterhavet National Park, taking place this year on Saturday, May 9, 2026, celebrating its 5th anniversary. The race is held on Nordkoster and offers Bohuslänian cliffs, sandy beaches, trails, and several magical viewpoints along a approximately 15 km course. After finishing, participants can relax with a salt bath and food at Kosterhavets Ekobod. The race is organized by Kosterhavets Ekobod in collaboration with local actors and has a limited number of starting places (200).

Start and finish at Kosterhavets Ekobod at Västra Bryggan on Nordkoster. The course is coordinated with Kosterhavet National Park and the race has only 200 starting spots. Two water stations serve water and the sports drink U Sport from Umara. Bib numbers can be collected on Friday, May 8, from 18:00 to 20:00 or on race day from 10:00. After finishing, pizza from Artisan Bread Karlstad and beer from Qvänum Brewery are served. No shower facilities are available at the finish; luggage storage is available at the start/finish. Participants need accident and liability insurance. Travel and accommodation tips are linked on the race website.
