Race description

Lerumsloppet is a traditional spring race organized by Lerum Athletics with various distances from 250 meters up to 10 kilometers, with the finish and competition center at Bagges Square in Lerum. The race is described as hilly and spectator-friendly, suitable for both recreational and competitive runners. Start and bib number distribution are centered around Brobacken / Bagges Square, and the organizer emphasizes good service with water stations, medical services, and changing and shower facilities close to the race area. A welcoming message on the page encourages registration via the partner EQ Timing and to register early for a lower entry fee.

Highlights

  • Hilly 10 km course with the steep 'Kyrkbacken' and a long ascent up towards Laggarns road
  • Mixed terrain: flat asphalt sections along Säveån / Aspen and gravel roads around Stamsjön and Laggarns road
  • Beautiful views along Säveån / Aspen and passages through picturesque residential and rural areas

Additional information

Start for all courses takes place at Brobacken near the competition center at Bagges Square. Bibs can be collected on Friday evening (specified 17:00 - 20:00) at the municipal building on Bagges Square or on the morning of the race from 09:30; race confirmation will also be sent via SMS/email (for example, Friday 2/5 at 12:00 for late registrations). Changing and shower facilities are available in cooperation with Actic Vattenpalatset near the race center (bib must be shown at the reception). Approximately 55 marshals/route guards, bike marshals, and sweepers are used along the course. Water stations: Vattenpalatset (~2.5 km / 800 m for the 1.6 km course), Laggarns road (after ~5 km for the 10 km), and water immediately after the finish. Medical tents are located at the race center, and course officials carry first aid equipment. Lerumsloppet is a family-friendly community event with several distances for children and adults, with start lists and information available on government platforms and the official website.
