Midnattsloppet Göteborg

Midnattsloppet Göteborg takes place on 5 September 2026 and offers a festive evening race of 5 km or 10 km, starting and finishing at Gustaf Adolfs torg. The races pass through the heart of the city and along Avenyn, with music, spectators and activities along the course creating a carnival atmosphere. The event welcomes individual runners, teams and companies, combining competition with a nighttime celebration. It is promoted as a memorable running experience, with late start times and a strong focus on atmosphere.

The start area and warm-up take place at Gustaf Adolfs torg. The 5 km entry fee includes, among other things, a Björn Borg T-shirt (this year's colour/design), chip timing, energy drink along the course, and a bar/fruit at the finish; a medal can be purchased when registering. Registration through wellness-benefit providers (Benifex, Epassi, Benefits) is available. Cut-off times: 10 km = 90 minutes (from the last start group), 5 km = 45 minutes; course closure/lap rules apply (for example, stopping at Tyska Bron for the lap and rules for the second lap). Company and team registration, as well as the purchase of gift codes, are available. Start times: 10 km at 21:00 and 5 km at 21:30. The race pack includes a T-shirt, chip and the option of a medal. Wellness subsidies are available through Benifex, Epassi and Benefits. Company and team participation is available, and a course map can be found on the website.
