Race description
Nalta Backyard Ultra is Sweden's northernmost backyard ultramarathon, held at Ursberget's ski cabin in Piteå. The race takes place on a 6.706 km loop with a new start every full hour - the first lap begins at 09:00 - where runners must be in the starting area to continue. Together with Piterunners, the organizers create a communal running festival in the midnight light with simple refreshments and a Nalta Backyard Ultra T-shirt included in the standard registration. All participation is at your own risk and the race follows the rules from bigsbackyardultra.com.

Additional information
Registration and bib distribution take place from 07:30 to 08:30 at the race management tent; race briefing and rules explanation at 08:30. All fluids and energy sources are available at the lap area (including UMARA sports drink, water, coffee, sandwiches, pickles, chips, candy, fruit); personal assistance along the course is not allowed. There are two small changing rooms (one shower) and two toilets; the organizer cannot provide supervision/storage of personal belongings. Parking is limited near the jogging track and at Tolvmansskolan - carpooling is recommended. The T-shirt is included in the standard registration (not included in late registration). There is a team category (register individually with team name) and awards are given when the last runner finishes. Registration 07:30 - 08:30; no on-course aid; T-shirt included with pre-registration; possibility for 3-person teams; results published on official websites; limited parking.
