Ölands Kyrkstafett

Ölands Church Relay is a classic long-distance relay, held for the 47th time, offering a fantastic running experience on Öland in spring. The start and finish are in Färjestaden, and there are two race options: a longer course with eleven legs totalling 67.5 km and a shorter course with six legs totalling 23.5 km. The race welcomes both experienced runners and beginners, with legs for all abilities. Organisers Högby IF and Ölands idrottskrets aim to provide the best possible service, with marshals, a race commentator and individual timing.

Race bibs can be collected on 8 May from 15:00 to 17:00 and on race day, 9 May, from 08:00 to 09:30 at Hamngrillen in Färjestaden. Changing facilities and showers are available at the sports hall, 200 m north of Ölands Köpstad. Wellness Studio will lead a group warm-up before the start. Marshals will be stationed along the course, at relay exchanges, and at the start and finish. Individual leg times, split times and team finish times are provided. A commentator will follow the race leaders from start to finish. Running on Öland, two course lengths, team categories, medal, barbecue plate, GPX files, changing facilities/showers, food/accommodation are offered.
