Ottsjö 12k

Ottsjö 12K is a 12 km mountain race with around 300 metres of elevation gain, offering a beautiful but demanding course through mountain terrain. It is an option for those who want to experience the mountain landscape without taking on the full distance or Salomon 27K. The route starts in Ottsjö and climbs towards Petterfjället and the Kläpphögarnas shelter, then continues along the plateau trail past Platåkåtan. It finishes by descending through the village and following Lake Ottsjön to the finish in the meadows in Ottsjö. The organiser offers a family option (children aged 10–13 run with an adult for SEK 200), and young people aged 14–18 pay half the entry fee.

Electronic chip timing; food and drink stations featuring local food; a traditional wooden cup is used at cup-free stations.
