Race description
PRB is a Backyard Ultra event in Växjö, held as a Silver Ticket event in 2026. Participants run a 6,706-metre loop, with a start every hour on the hour. The first start is at 10:00, and the race follows last-person-standing rules based on the general principles of Backyard Ultra. The course is varied and easy to run, combining asphalt and gravel/trails to help runners keep going for as long as possible. The loop turnaround and finish are on the southern shore of Trummen, with services in the turnaround area for runners and their companions.
Highlights
- 6,706-metre loop — 24 loops equal 100 miles (160.93 km)
- Approximately 35 metres of elevation gain per loop
- Around 3 km of asphalt per loop, with the rest on gravel and trails; the turnaround is on the southern shore of Trummen, close to a playground, skate park and swimming area
Additional information
The organiser provides an aid table in the turnaround area with sports drink (Umara), water, Coca-Cola, coffee, sweets, crisps and fruit. A cooked meal is served every six hours, with the first serving after four hours. Anyone who completes at least one loop receives a medal from Yoga Wood and a Finisher Beer from Tomorrow Brewing. Participants may set up small tents and chairs in the turnaround area. The nearest bus stop is Trummenvägen (route 3), and the recommended parking is at Ica Kvantum Teleborg (fee: ~10 SEK/day). Participants who choose to withdraw must notify the race management to receive a result. You may not cross the start line and turn back, as the course is one-way, but you may cross the line to change clothes, eat, use the toilet, etc. The race information indicates that public transport and parking are nearby.
