Rönninge Backyard Run 2026

Rönninge Backyard Run is a lap race in Toredal, where each lap is 6,706 metres. The format is built around hourly starts: the first lap starts at 09:00, followed by a new start at the top of every hour, for up to 12 laps in total. Participants must complete a lap in under an hour to start the next one. The competitor who completes the most laps—and is fastest on the final lap—wins the women’s or men’s class. The race suits both competitive runners and those looking to test their endurance on a technical but runnable loop in scenic Garnudden. A shorter MiniBackyard is offered for children and beginners, with on-site registration and a separate afternoon start time.

Registration for Rönninge Backyard Run opens on 1 March 2026. Rönninge 6h (6 June 2026) starts at 10:00 and runs until 16:00; registration is via RaceID (link on the page). MiniBackyard starts at 14:00, with on-site registration. Registration for the main race is personal and binding; cancellations must be made via info@lopklubb.se by 1 October, with an administrative fee of SEK 45. The race has hourly starts: lap 1 at 09:00, lap 2 at 10:00, and so on; the final start is at 20:00. Laps are recorded with a chip (in the 6-hour race). Refreshments are served at 20:00 for the final lap.
