S:t Hans Extreme

S:t Hans Extreme is a welcoming but challenging trail race at S:t Hans Backar in Lund, taking place on Thursday, 28 May 2026. The race offers several categories for different levels and ambitions: Ultra (6 hours), 10 km, 5 km and a shorter 2.5 km lap, as well as team events. The course is technical, with significant elevation gain on each lap, and suits both competitive runners and those looking for a tough training challenge. The organisers welcome everyone and provide practical information about registration, payment and start times on their information page.

Register via Mittlopp.se (link from the organiser’s registration page). The regular online price applies until 18/5; late online registration is available 18–25/5 at a higher price. You can also register late at Löplabbet in Lund on 26/5 from 16–18 (in-store discount), and at the event venue on 28/5 (ultra categories 13:20–13:50, other categories 16:45–18:20). Payment is preferably by Swish (Lunds OK’s Swish number: 123 303 6787); cash in exact change is accepted in exceptional cases. Runners from Lunds Orienteringsklubb pay a reduced fee (50:-). Team events: the fastest team is determined over 40 km, and there is also a team competition for the greatest total distance. Course information: lap-based course at S:t Hans Backar, 2.55 km per lap with approximately 140 metres of elevation gain; the ultra categories take place within 6 hours.
