Sandsjöbacka Trail is one of West Sweden's most exciting and challenging trail races during the winter season, offering distances of 30k, 60k, 90k, and 180k. The races feature varied terrain ranging from easy-running ground to technical trail running in a magical environment. Additional information
The 180k race is an out and back course starting in Skatås and turning point at Tjolöholm. The start time on Friday can be freely chosen between 11:00 and 20:00, but all 90k and 180k runners must start together at 06:00 on Saturday morning. Drop bags and rest areas are available at Tjolöholm. Self-support is required for the section Skatås - Tjolöholm according to Fastest Known Time rules. Headlamps are recommended for dark sections. There are maximum times and several aid stations with closing times along the routes. The event is known for its scenic course and challenging terrain, making it a popular choice for trail runners in the region.
