Silverleden Ultra

Silverleden Ultra is a trail race in Hällefors/Bergslagen, with distances of 64 km, 33 km and 100 miles. The race takes place on 26 - 27 June 2026 and is promoted under the slogan “the joy of running” — participants can expect technical, hilly terrain with plenty of trails and climbs. The 100-mile race is sold out for 2026. The organiser’s copy and information emphasise challenging routes close to nature, and recommend bringing the right equipment.

Practical information: A bus to the 33 km start leaves Hurtigtorpet at 10:30 and must be booked in advance (booking is available until 2026-06-20); payments by methods other than card can be made to IBAN SE09 9020 0000 0906 0545 6739, using the reference number from the registration; limited pitches are available for caravans and motorhomes — please contact info@silverledenultra.se (electricity is limited); relay registration is not available in 2026; the minimum age for participants is 15 (the age they turn that year), and the 33 km race may be run under a guardian’s supervision even by younger participants; the receipt from the registration system can be used to claim a wellness allowance; equipment recommendations: trail shoes are recommended and metal studs are not; few runners use poles, but they may be recommended for the second half of the course and can be transported to the Silvergruvan checkpoint. GPX and Strava links are available; the time limit is 12 hours; there are aid stations along the course; maps and course descriptions are available on the website.
