Trosa Stadslopp

Trosa Stadslopp is a long-running community celebration, always held on the first Friday after Midsummer. In 2026, the race takes place on Friday, 26 June. The course runs through picturesque summer-time Trosa, with large crowds and close to the water, creating a summery atmosphere for both competition and recreation. The event offers categories for elite runners, recreational runners, young people and children, as well as the 8,900 m main race and shorter recreational options.

Registration remains open until the start, and payment can be made by Swish or card; alternatively, pay to Trosa Stadslopp's bankgiro 488-8335. Folksam recreational race insurance is available (e.g. SEK 155 for basic cover, Startklar Plus SEK 275). Bib collection opens at 10:00 at Team Sportia on race day. The 8,900 m main race has start groups based on target times (start group 1 at 21:00, followed by additional groups); there is also a children's race (700 m) and award ceremonies on stage. The organiser gives 50 cl of Vitamin Well to runners in the 8,900 m and 4 km races. The programme also includes 700 m and 900 m distances, Jogging/Walking with poles over 4 km, and information about night buses to Stockholm after the race.
