Vårruset

Spring Ruset in Halmstad is a recreational race for women offering distances of 2.5 km and 5 km in the scenic Alet Nature Reserve. The race is characterized by joy of movement and community and welcomes participants regardless of training background or ambition level. It is possible to register individually or in teams, where teams registered receive a picnic after crossing the finish line. The event is part of a long tradition since 1989 and aims to promote women's health and community.

Number bib distribution takes place at Intersport Halmstad Flygstaden days before the race. Picnic after finishing for teams of 5 people. Option to opt out of timing. Recommended age 2.5 km from 11 years (7 years with adult supervision), 5 km from 13 years (11 years with adult supervision). Changing clothes is recommended to be done at home as there are no changing facilities on site. Water stations and toilets are available at the event area. Parking is available but environmentally friendly travel is encouraged. Participants can choose to have their time recorded for the 5 km, and the event includes a festive atmosphere with opportunities for community and health.
