Vårruset Göteborg

Spring Ruset Gothenburg is a popular spring race held in Slottsskogen with start and finish at Björngårdsvillan. The race offers two distances, 2.5 km and 5 km, with the 5 km course being officially measured. It is a social and inclusive event where participants can register individually or in teams, and teams that register are offered a picnic after the finish. The race is open to all ages, with a recommended age of 7 years in the company of an adult, and offers medals, finish bags, timing (optional), and bibs to participants.

Registration is binding and can be done digitally until race day, no later than 1 hour before the first start. It is possible to opt out of timing during registration. Teams consist of 5 people, and all team members can run different distances. Teams that register are offered a picnic after the finish. The recommended age is 7 years in the company of an adult for the 2.5 km and 11 years in the company of an adult for the 5 km. The race is part of Sweden's largest women's fitness series, with digital registration, team participation options, and timing on the 5 km. Participants are offered medals, finish bags, a picnic, and entertainment.
