Vårruset (Växjö)

Vårruset Växjö is the Växjö edition of Sweden’s largest women’s running tour, which visits 19 cities in 2026. In Växjö, participants can choose between 2.5 km and 5 km, starting and finishing at Strandbjörket, around Lake Växjö. You can register individually or as part of a team. A medal, a finish-line bag and the Vårruset music quiz with prizes are included, while timing is optional. Age recommendations apply, and registration is online. As an extra new feature, free HPV vaccination is available on-site during Vårruset for women born in 1994–1999, according to Region Kronoberg.

Start and finish at Strandbjörket; teams of 5 are treated to a picnic after the finish. You can register online up until race day, no later than 1 hour before the first start; you can opt out of timing when registering.
