Varvetmilen (Malmö)

Varvetmilen Malmö is a 10 km race that challenges you to run your best mile. The race serves as a qualifying event for Göteborgsvarvet 2026, giving you the opportunity to secure a better starting group in the classic half marathon. The start and finish are at Heleneholms IP, and the course runs through scenic areas such as Nydalaparken and Almvik with a water station at 5 km. Varvetmilen is organized by Göteborgsvarvet in collaboration with Heleneholms IF and also offers the Minivarvet for children during the race.

Minivarvet for children aged 0-6 years is held simultaneously on site with a 210-meter-long course. Registration for Minivarvet takes place on site and costs 80 SEK (Swish). Results from Varvetmilen are automatically used for seedings to Göteborgsvarvet 2026 without additional registration.
