Västgötaloppet Trail 2026

Västgötaloppet Trail is a family-friendly trail race held in beautiful woodland and rugged terrain around Dammen in Tvärred, south of Ulricehamn. Choose between 7, 17 or 27 km on routes featuring narrow trails, moss-covered rocky sections and plenty of elevation. The event focuses on the experience, community and joy of running, with volunteers, a race announcer and on-site services, as well as hot food and a medal for everyone who finishes.

All distances start and finish at Dammen in Tvärred; parking is available nearby. There are aid stations along the course (in partnership with Umara Sports). Hot food is included for all participants after finishing, and everyone who completes the race receives a medal. A free mini-race for the youngest participants starts at 10:45, with on-site registration; a course test run takes place on 3 May with several pace groups. Västgötaloppet Trail is part of Västgötatrippeln (Classic/Skate, MTB and Trail). The event area is Dammen in Tvärred; the start and finish are centrally located, with parking nearby, and participants are offered drinks, snacks, a medal and hot food after the race.
