Västgötaloppet Trail 2026

Västgötaloppet Trail is a family-friendly trail run held in a beautiful forest and terrain environment around Dammen in Tvärred south of Ulricehamn. You can choose between 7, 17, or 27 km on routes that feature narrow forest trails, moss-covered rock formations, and significant elevation changes. The event emphasizes experience, community, and running joy with staff, announcer, and services on site, as well as warm food and a medal for all finishers.

All distances start and finish at Dammen in Tvärred; parking is available nearby. Water stations are available along the course (in collaboration with Umara Sports). Warm food is included for all participants after the finish, and medals are awarded to everyone who completes the race. A free mini race for the very youngest (start at 10:45) with registration on site; course testing is organized on May 3 with several speed groups. Västgötaloppet Trail is part of the Västgötatrippeln (Classic/Skate, MTB, and Trail). The race area is Dammen in Tvärred; the start/finish area is centrally located in the area, with parking nearby, and participants are offered drinks, snacks, medals, and warm food after the race. The 27 km and 17 km races have prize ceremonies; the 7 km race offers prize draws. Part of the Västgötaloppstrippeln.
