Växjö Marathon

Welcome to the 32nd edition of Växjö Marathon, presented by VLK. The race consists of eight laps around Lake Växjö on what the organizer calls “Sweden’s fastest course.” The course is very flat (approximately 3 m of elevation difference) and mostly paved, with about 300 metres of fine gravel. The lap was officially measured in August 2024. A relay and a children’s race are also offered, and the course is marked with a lead cyclist and flag marshals.

The course is not closed to other users, so runners share the pedestrian and cycle paths with walkers and cyclists; motor traffic is encountered at three points along the course.
