Blodomloppet (Borås)

Blood Run in Borås is a recreational race offering distances of 5 km and 10 km running, as well as a child-friendly course called Little Blood Run of about 800 meters. The races take place on hilly trails and roads in scenic areas around Ymergården and Skidstadion, providing a wonderful natural experience suitable for both runners and walkers. The Little Blood Run is specially adapted for children up to 12 years old, and all participants receive shirts and medals. After the race, families have the opportunity to explore an activity course called "Ymer's Giant Path". Blood Run is part of a larger national initiative to raise awareness about blood donation and promote health.

Registration can be done individually or in teams (3-5 participants). Team registration includes a picnic basket. Extra picnic baskets can be purchased for 250 SEK. Late registration can be done on-site on the day of the event against an increased fee, no later than one hour before start. Name on bib must be registered by August 10. Little Blood Run provides shirts and medals to all children. After the race, families are offered to explore "Ymer's Giant Path", an activity course. The event includes medals, picnic baskets, activities for children, and opportunities for the whole family to participate. Participants often receive T-shirts made of functional material and medals as souvenirs.
