Bocksten Trailrun

Bocksten TrailRun is a nature-focused trail race with its event centre at Öströö sheep farm and courses in the Åkulla beech forests. The event offers four distances (5 km, 12 km, 22 km and Ultra 44 km) through beech and spruce forests, with lake views and varied trails. The races are spectator-friendly, have limited start places, and offer participants a special medal. Welcome to experience the joy of running and a sense of community in a magical forest setting.

Distances: 5 km (start 10:15, 200 places), 12 km (start 10:00, 400 places), 22 km (start 10:30, 300 places) and Ultra 44 km (start 08:00, 100 places). Only tap water is served during the event (no plastic bottles); Tailwind and squash are available as alternatives. For the Vineyard Backyard Ultra, bringing your own cup is mandatory; a headlamp and personal medication are mandatory, and the headlamp must be worn between 20:00 and 07:00. The summer edition takes place on 27 June 2026, with distances of 5/12/22/Ultra 44 km; the winter edition is at Öströö Gård, with 5/12/24 km and 500 places.
