Race description
Dundret Extreme Running (DXR) is a challenging race held at the end of August at Dundret in Gällivare. The race has a long history since its start in 1997 and offers several distances with varied terrain, including sections of unmarked terrain and marsh running. The longest course is 22 km with approximately 700 meters of elevation gain, where runners ascend to the mountain cross on Dundret's mast top and then run around the peaks before finishing at Hellnerstadion. DXR is a race for runners who want to test their endurance and enjoy beautiful nature in a mountain environment.

The 22 km route follows marked trails and paved roads.
