Helags Fjällmara

Helags Fjällmara is a classic mountain terrain race in the Ljungdalsfjällen, organized since 1985. The event offers several distances for different levels, from the children's run up to longer mountain trail races, and features beautiful views and challenging trails. The start and finish are located on the meadow in the middle of Ljungdalen village, providing a pleasant competition venue for both elite runners and families. The event is organized on a voluntary basis by Ljungdalens Gymnastik och Idrottsförening.

Practical information: registration is open until 16/7 (no late registration on site), registration for the children's run is open until 18/7 at 10:15. Participant limit: 23 km 250 participants, 12 km 200, 5 km 150, 3 km 100, 800 m 200. The registration fee includes energy and water stations along the course, a personal mug from Umara (bring it during the race), electronic timing (chip in bib number), and a medal for all finishers. Showers and sauna are available after the finish. Registration is binding; transfer of start place and class change are possible for a fee of 250 SEK (changes according to instructions via email; the registration site mentions contact both info@ljungdalensgif.se and hej@helagsfjallmara.se). Race categories for elite, recreational runners, and children; registration is via Raceweb on the website; several distances available: 42 km, 23 km, 12 km, 5 km, 3 km, and 800 m.
