Innovationsstafetten

Innovationsstafetten is a team relay held in the Brunnshög and Ideon areas in north-eastern Lund. The start, finish and relay exchange area are in Nobelparken, and the course winds north towards ESS and through Kunskapsparken before returning to Nobelparken. Teams compete in women’s, men’s or mixed categories, and each runner covers approximately 5 km. The event is organised in collaboration with IFK Lund Friidrott, Ideon Science Park and Medicon Village. It is well suited to companies, student teams and families, alongside Nobelloppet and Brunnshögskalaset.

Teams consist of 2–4 people (company pages state 2–4; some texts mention 4); each runner covers approximately 5 km. The first leg starts together at 14:00; subsequent exchange times depend on the team’s pace (there is no time limit). Changing facilities, storage for outerwear, and food and drink are available in Nobelparken; runners receive a medal or a sausage after finishing. Recommended transport: tram line 1 to Brunnshögstorget.
