Kolmårdstrailen

Kolmårdstrailen is a hilly, experience-focused trail race in the scenic Kolmården area, with technical trails, rocky slabs and plenty of elevation gain. You can choose from courses of approximately 21 km, 11 km and 6 km (as well as a 500 m children’s course). The course is described as challenging but close to nature. It passes, among other places, through Rödgölens Nature Reserve and offers beautiful views from Kolmården’s highest point. The organizer emphasizes the experience and provides services including a water station and downloadable GPX data for your watch.

Regular registration is open through 3 May; late registration is available online until 6 May and then on site on race day from 09:00 to 11:00, with payment by cash or Swish. GPX data for the courses is available to download. There is a water station after approximately 7.5 km at Scoutstugan. A children’s race of approximately 500 m is available for children up to age 10. For Kolmården Night Trail, bring a headlamp; the course is marked with reflectors, there are no shower facilities, and chanterelle soup is served at the finish. The organizer offers cancellation and accident insurance as optional extras. The Kolmården events in the series include Kolmården Vertical (5 km, 300 metres of elevation gain), Swimrun Kolmården, Kolmården Night Trail (9 km) and Luciatåget (7.5 km).
