Mälarömilen

After more than ten years away, Mälarömilen is back on Ekerö—a welcoming race for runners of all levels. The event features four races in one day: Mälarö Knattelopp, Lilla Mälarömilen, Mälaröfemman and the classic main race, Mälarömilen (10 km). The start and finish are at Träkvista sports ground, and the event emphasizes community, the joy of exercise and fast courses for those who want to compete. Teams and companies can also register together through a convenient group registration.

Online registration closes 7 days before the race; late registration is available on race day for an increased fee. The number of places is limited, and registration is valid only once payment has been completed. Timing and race bibs are used in all categories (except Mälarö Knattelopp, which is untimed; Lilla Mälarömilen girls/boys aged 9–11 are timed but not ranked). The event area is at Träkvista sports ground, with medical services, a water station just after the start/lap point, and toilets, showers and changing rooms in KOM-huset. Recommended public transport options: buses 177 and 301–311 (Träkvista Idrottsplats stop). The total limit is 1,000 runners, and all proceeds go back to Mälarö SOK’s sports activities. The race offers company and team registration, as well as support for teams.
