Race description
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the Mattila Trail Run will take place, following its successful debut in 2025. The race runs through the beautiful Finnskogen forest in Värmland, across marshes, over boardwalks, and through a mix of old-growth and managed forest. Some sections take you past cultural sites, as much of the route passes through the historic cultural heritage of Finnskogen. Enjoy a memorable trail-running experience with plenty of challenging climbs and, in some places, technical trails. Welcome to a true adventure!
