MOSSARUN

Mossarun is a small, welcoming charity race in southern Sweden, focused on technical singletrack and community rather than prize money. The main format is a 17 km loop used for the 24-hour ultra; there are also 51 km and a children’s race. The course is technical and hilly, with many short, steep climbs and mostly singletrack. The organizers emphasize simplicity and sustainability, and a large portion of the entry fee goes to charity.

Accommodation: you can sleep in the barn (20–30 places) or camp on site; social activities before and after the race include a campfire and BBQ/pizza. Wood-fired pizza is sold (100–120 kr, 13:00–15:00). 24-hour runners pass the base camp every lap; there are special features for the 24-hour race ("chainsaw segment") — see the race rules. The cut-off for the 24-hour ultra is stated as Sunday 6.09.2026. The event provides separate toilets/changing rooms and access to menstrual products; support is available to help find a night-running buddy for dark laps.
