Race description
Mossarun is a small, welcoming charity race in southern Sweden focusing on technical singletracks and community rather than prize money. The main format is a 17 km loop used by the 24h-ultra; there is also a 51 km race and a children's race. The course is technical and hilly with many small, steep hills and mostly singletrack. The organizers emphasize simplicity, sustainability, and that a large part of the fee goes to charity.
Highlights
- 17 km loop - used for 24h-ultra (51 km = 3 laps)
- Approximately 500 m elevation gain per lap (according to barometric watches)
- 90% singletrack, 10% gravel; technical terrain with many small hills
