Nordens Ark TrailRun

Nordens Ark Trailrun is a family-friendly trail race held in the Ecopark at Nordens Ark in Hunnebostrand. The race offers several distances, from 1 km for the youngest participants to 30 km for more experienced runners. The event combines nature experiences with health and outdoor activities in a scenic setting. It is organised by IK Granit and has become a popular tradition for both recreational runners and families.

The race is cancelled in 2026 due to unforeseen circumstances. Nordens Ark is a large outdoor park with approximately 4 km of walking trails in the wildlife park, offering a feel for the terrain. The park is cash-free and offers free parking and electric vehicle charging stations. Participants and visitors are encouraged to respect the animals and follow the park's rules. The event was planned for 2026 but has been cancelled for this year. It was an outdoor event with the start and finish at Zooliden, Nordens Ark, winding through the beautiful countryside of Sotenäs.
