Ölands Kyrkstafett

Öland's Parish Relay is a classic long-distance relay race held for the 47th time, offering a fantastic running experience on a spring-blooming Öland. The start and finish are in Färjestaden, and the race is available in two variants: a longer course with eleven legs totaling 67.5 km and a shorter course with six legs totaling 23.5 km. The race welcomes both dedicated runners and beginners, with legs suitable for all levels. Officials and a announcer follow the race to provide the best possible service and atmosphere throughout the event.

Number bib collection takes place on May 8th from 15:00 to 17:00 and on race day May 9th from 08:00 to 09:30 at Hamngrillen in Färjestaden. Changing rooms and showers are available at the sports hall 200 meters north of Ölands Köpstad. Wellness Studio hosts a group warm-up before the start. Individual split times, intermediate times, and team finish times are provided. The announcer follows the lead pack from start to finish. The race offers accommodation and food options at Ekerum Resort and Best Western Plus Kalmarsund Hotel. Registration is open until April 30, 2026, with late registration until May 6. Participants can expect a well-organized event with officials, a group warm-up, and awards for the best teams.
