Ölands Kyrkstafett

Ölands Kyrkstafett is a classic long-distance relay, being held for the 47th time, and offers a fantastic running experience on Öland as spring gets underway. The start and finish are in Färjestaden, and the race comes in two formats: a longer course with eleven legs, totalling 67.5 km, and a shorter course with six legs, totalling 23.5 km. The race welcomes both dedicated runners and beginners, with legs for all levels. Event staff and a race announcer follow the race to provide the best possible service and atmosphere throughout the event.

Race bibs can be collected on 8 May from 15:00 to 17:00 and on race day, 9 May, from 08:00 to 09:30 at Hamngrillen in Färjestaden. Changing rooms and showers are available at the sports hall, 200 m north of Ölands Köpstad. Wellness Studio will lead a group warm-up before the start. Individual leg times, split times and teams’ finish times will be provided. The race announcer will follow the leaders from start to finish. Accommodation and food are available at Ekerum Resort and Best Western Plus Kalmarsund Hotell. Registration is open until 30 April 2026, with late registration available through 6 May. Participants can look forward to a well-organised event with event staff, a group warm-up and a prize-giving ceremony for the top teams.
