Race description
RUNmaröloppen is a family-friendly race in the heart of Stockholm's archipelago on Runmarö, starting and finishing at the Svängen inn. The event offers short children's races, Lunken (5.7 km), and a half marathon (21 km) across beautiful trails, open fields, and archipelago villages – perfect as a day trip with Waxholmsbåtarna. The races are limited in number of participants and emphasize atmosphere, energy stations, and sustainability; 20% of the proceeds go to the Skärgårdsstiftelsen.

Additional information
Start and finish at the Svängen inn (approximately 400 meters from the pier). Mini-Lunken starts at 11:00; Lunken and Half Marathon start at 13:00. The half marathon has 1 km markers, an interactive map, a total elevation gain of 169 meters, and several local water stations (for example, Nore with salt cucumber and Solberga). Participants in Mini-Lunken receive an ice cream; all finishers get a medal and a finisher's drink. The races are limited in number (200 spots for the half marathon and 120 for Lunken in the first round, with an additional 30 spots released closer to the race, often at 18:00 the day before). Registration opens on May 1 at 09:00. 20% of the proceeds are donated to the Skärgårdsstiftelsen. Results are published online and an award ceremony takes place after the races; in the evening, there is dinner/party at Svängen. Start and finish at Svängen; the courses are marked; registration starts May 1 at 09:00; a significant number of spots are limited (Half marathon 200 spots, Lunken 120 in the first round, plus 30 extra spots later); a purposeful charity aspect and local atmosphere.
