Rynningeviken Längre 2026

Rynningeviken Longer is a timed race in the Rynningeviken Nature Reserve outside Örebro, where participants run as far as they can in either three or six hours. The course follows scenic trails along Lake Hjälmaren and the Svartån River. It is relatively technical but fast, and just a stone’s throw from the city centre. The race is open to all running styles and abilities—from walking to ultrarunning—and offers a community-focused day with support and aid stations. A separate KidsRun for the youngest participants is also part of the event.

Start times and mandatory briefings: 6-hour race starts at 11:00 (briefing at 10:45); 3-hour race starts at 14:00 (briefing at 13:45); KidsRun starts at 11:30 (briefing at 11:15). Location: Gamla Oljehamnen, below Naturens hus; parking along Oljevägen. Timing uses a transponder borrowed at bib collection (a lost transponder incurs a charge of SEK 800); the final measurement is verified with a measuring wheel. There is no individual timekeeping—the result is the distance covered when time expires. Umara sports drink and water are provided, along with a well-stocked energy table (bars, fruit, crisps, pickled cucumber, Tosca cake and more). No changing rooms or showers are available. Public toilets are located at the start and about 1 km along the course. Registration is only through the partner AnmälMigNu (group and corporate registration via info@epictrail.se). Young people (born in 2008 or later) receive a 50% discount. KidsRun participants receive a medal, Festis and ice cream. The course loop is approximately 2,412.5 m, with two bridges and a final 508 m loop. Energy and fluids are provided (Umara). No changing rooms or showers are offered; toilets are near the start and about 1 km along the course. Registration window: 24–29 August. The 50% youth discount applies to those born in 2008 or later.
