The Summer Half Marathon is a summer race organized by the running club LK Gränslöst, offering runners the opportunity to experience the beautiful plains of Närke. The course often runs on gravel roads among rolling cereal fields and provides a close-to-nature, summer running experience. LK Gränslöst is an inclusive club welcoming runners of all levels.

LK Gränslöst organizes several summer races: the Summer Half Marathon, the Summer Mile, and the children's race Solruset. The club announced that the races will be paused in 2025 due to lack of availability of key personnel in the organizing group. The club also holds open Wednesday trainings at 18:00 in Örebro (location varies) led by Carina Gustavsson and Thomas Stenius.
