Trollhättan City Trail

Trollhättan City Trail is a trail race in central Trollhättan, starting and finishing at Folkets Park. The courses follow technical trails and many staircases along the waterfall and canal lock area, offering varied, hilly terrain with sections of gravel and asphalt. The event offers several distances for both experienced trail runners and recreational runners—from the Mini Trail children’s race to the longer Half Marathon+. Runners with dogs are also welcome in designated start groups.

Bib pickup from 11:30 at the start (Folkets Park). Marked and signposted changing rooms are available at Arena Älvhögsborg (Storgatan 1). Toilets are available at the start and in the changing area. There are three aid stations with water and sports drink along the course, plus an aid station at the finish. Trollhättan Mini Trail (0.8 km) is a children’s race with no timing. The 8.5 km and 14 km distances are also open to dogs on a leash in separate start groups (in cooperation with MIMsafe). GPX files are available; start times according to the race information: Trollhättan Mini Trail at 13:00, other distances at 14:00 and 14:15; aid stations along the course and at the finish; bag storage at the start/finish; changing rooms at Arena Älvhögsborg.
