Ultravasan

Ultravasan 90 is a trail race starting in Berga by, Sälen, offering runners the classic Vasaloppet route through scenic summer landscapes. The race starts at dawn at 05:00 and follows the historic checkpoints to the finish in Mora, with views of pine forests, waterways, trails and traditional mountain farm settings. The race is 92 km long, has Swedish Championship status in 2026 and is part of Vasaloppstrippeln; the maximum number of participants is 2,500, and the minimum age is 17.

Race bibs and chips can be collected in Mora or Sälen in the days before the race, or at the start venue. Start pens open at 04:30, and your time starts when you cross the start line. Baggage transport to Mora is available, and you can send a change-of-clothes bag to Evertsberg. There are refreshment stations approximately every five kilometres, as well as toilets and medical care at all checkpoints. Maximum 2,500 participants; training grants of SEK 60,000 are awarded to the winner in each of the women’s and men’s categories. Ultravasan consists of two longer ultramarathon distances: Ultravasan 90 (Sälen–Mora, approximately 92 km) and Ultravasan 45 (Oxberg–Mora, approximately 45 km). Both finish in Mora and are part of Vasaloppet’s Summer Week.
